Good care starts with understanding. Explore the layers of a tooth, then discover the technology we use to care for yours.

Inside a tooth.
Enamel, dentin and pulp.
Enamel
The first line of protection.
Enamel covers the crown, the visible part of your tooth. This hard outer layer protects the dentin just beneath it.
Dentin
Beneath the surface.
Dentin makes up most of the tooth, beneath the enamel and around the pulp. Its tiny channels can transmit sensations of heat and cold when this layer is exposed.
Pulp
At the heart of the tooth.
Pulp is the living tissue at the centre of the tooth. It contains nerves and blood vessels and extends into the root canals.
A closer look. Thoughtful care.
